... reasonable climb up to Foncebadon, getting closer to the snow capped peaks we have been photographing for the past week. They scenery just opens up and gets bigger and bigger with every twist in the track up the mountain. Could not find an outlet for "Real" Coffee in Foncebadon so we got a bit stressed over that as this the highlight of the day to get "Real" Coffee first thing.

So grateful for the simple things AND I get a bed with sheets and REAL towels for two days. Die for material - grateful. ...

... personable man. It was all worth while. The overwhelming scenery far outweighed the travail, and we do have a very satisfying sense of achievement. And Molinaseca is a lovely little town - though I have to admit that since arriving at the hotel I haven't stepped out!! And have no intention of it! A short 8 km walk tomorrow into Ponferrada - a small city nearby which we saw many times from the top, and were glad that we didn't have to go on to there today. We will sleep well ...
