... history from Roman times when it was exploited for its gol yields. It is a must do when we return. We did go to Astorga by local bus on the Monday as most buildings are closed that day in Leon. The girl at the i said that would be a good day to go out into the country, for example to Astorga, but she didn't mention, most things are closed on Monday in Astorga too, including the i office! ... champagne toast we all decided to head out. At 1PM we hit the Camino and.the heat of the day became progressively more intense. We made a big mistake in not stopping for lunch as it wasn't until after 8 pm that we sat down to eat. Six hours later we stumbled into El Albergue de Guacelmo in Rabanal.
