... a busy time and there were a few people at the counter, so in broken spanish i asked if i could pay. I got a 'yes, yes' and then he walked off. I waited and i waited and then a little while later tried again to pass my card over. ... everyone hobbles into town at the end of the day. Lost toenails and blisters are very common, it's like the walking wounded, goodness knows what they look like under their clothes because sweat rashes occur in the most unexpected places.

We arrived in Leon on Wed after taking the bus from Marsilla. Cost for the 2 of us was 3.5€ and he distance was about 7km We stayed in the hotel Riosol for about 80€ for 2 days. This was about 5 minutes from the bus station. So we had a break from carrying our packs for a 1 1/2 days. our hotel was basic. The front staff señor was a rude man. We had no luck with Wifi and he kept telling us to go away. ...
