... a busy time and there were a few people at the counter, so in broken spanish i asked if i could pay. I got a 'yes, yes' and then he walked off. I waited and i waited and then a little while later tried again to pass my card over. ... legs were tired. This morning we got up at 6:30 and had a continental breakfast. We met Darren from Australia who was hiking in his flip flops! We set off a little before 8 AM in the cool morning temps. We ascended all morning, walking through heather and other mountain wildflowers I didn't recognize. ... for breakfast. On to Santa Catalina de Somoza for morning coffee then El Ganzo for lunch of Empanadas con atun and a beer. We arrived in Leon on Wed after taking the bus from Marsilla. Cost for the 2 of us was 3.5€ and he distance was about 7km We stayed in the hotel Riosol for about 80€ for 2 days. This was about 5 minutes from the bus station. So we had a break from carrying our packs for a 1 1/2 days. our hotel was basic. The front staff señor was a rude man. We had no luck with Wifi and he kept telling us to go away. ...
