        Day 5 Relax Day

Spent the early part of the day on the beach after a great breakfast. Getting ready to go into town(Coco Beach) for some sightseeing and sample a restaurant. Of course, Norma will be doing some shopping. I suppose I can occupy myself with some people watching. Very hot today but a strong wind off the water makes it bearable. All day trip planned for tomorrow to the Arenal Volcano, mud bath. Life is good or as the Costa Ricans say Puda Vida.

The coast is however clearly a popular spot for holidays makers on a one week or two week sojourn and hence, the price of activities there at times reflects this. I have heard that this is even more true of the pacific coast, which we didn't have time to visit. My advice; go see the nature and beaches, organise your own food and fun where possible and then move ...

... some fellow hostel mates asking the hostel manager how to get there, it was decided. We were pumped, but gave ourselves an extra day to rest before going as we were exhausted from the adventure day and couldn't fathom shopping for food, organizing all of our stuff for a hike and another 4:00 am morning. So we spent our last day in Manuel Antonio exploring the National Park and preparing for the hike.

We were up at 4 for our 5:30 bus. We met a couple ...
