Between Yuma and El Centro there are geothermal energy plants and hot spas. We stopped at a hot spa where there are two pools and a sprinkler that take advantage of the hot water. A gentleman told us the water is 120F, quite toasty. Bertha told us that years ago these pools were clothing optional but now there’s a sign saying that bathing suits must be worn.
