Today we, Ziggy and I, felt like we could die if this bike broke down or ran out of gas. I had a full tank, 180 miles, and I truly thought we could run out of gas. First, I forgot to mention that El Centro is the winter home of the Blue Angels. Every now and then we can see them flying in formation, presumably practicing, but man are they LOUD. We went by the Navy base, since I wanted to take a tour of the place, being an old Navy man myself, but the Tufie gave it a yawn so we didn't. Women.

... and the manager very welcoming of us saying "As long as you make it in before the doors closed you're welcome to come in!" Refreshing spirit. Our group of 10 were all that were in the restaurant so we had our order placed and food cooked quickly (plus the staff was probably ready to go home). We all ate good - I enjoyed my breakfast while most of the others including Ayden, Shaunette and my parents had lunch-type sandwiches.
