    ... the rubbish removed (one must bare in mind that on a yacht frequently at anchor it is difficult to keep such refuse separated).

    In the afternoon a super yacht by the name of Hampshire II anchored not far from us. This yacht is owned by Jim Ratcliffe a billionnaire and he paid 130m to have it built in 2012. Needless to say the yacht had quite a few fit crew and lovely ladies on board.

    ... advantage of. So staying put today and completing some essential chores. We could move to another anchorage but then that will add to the journey across which is around 200 miles.
    Went into town for lunch and enjoyed some local delicacies – which were very nice indeed. That is something that we've been a little disappointed with in the other places. Most of the resturants cater for families so there is the usual fare of pizza's, lasagne, fish and chips etc.

    On the 7th of August we left at 8:15 am from Porto Torres.
    On board the ferry we enjoyed the sea and its colours and the sight of a few sailboats, which look great in my pictures. The journey took 1 hour and 15 minutes and the ferry docked at Cala Reale. Here is where we met the first donkeys (they're very cute and used to people) and enjoyed a breathtaking ...

    My flight from Dublin arrived in Alghero at 2 pm.
    I went straight to the beach! I really missed the sun and the Sardinian sea!!!
    I love my land and I love Alghero. Alghero is always Alghero, 'cause it has the beaches, and what beaches! And also, it has some movida at night, and nice shops, restaurant and bars...
