... Miguel; they are small powder sugar sweets. Beth found tamarin candies at the store, a childhood favorite, and they were delicious. Next door was the most wonderful dark chocolate store. Thomas, Ben and Joe played with the cocoa bean fruit; we all enjoyed the chocolate honey candies Andrew bought for us. Such a gourmet treat!

Wandering through the plazas and passing churches there was a lot of activity and we noted a number of weddings taking place. One young bride was kind enough to pose for a photo in her beautiful red dress. It appears that here the brides wear red not white and I do not know if that is just this year's fashion or a Mexican tradition, I suspect the former.
