... In Belize the conversion rate was just double the US$ so food oj menus was normally around 16/20 belizean dollars but in Mexico the peso is 13 pesos to the dollar so when we saw something for 120 pesos we were a tad shocked. That actually works our about $8 so it seems like loads but it's really not. Got our last full day together as a group tomorrow. We're going to some ruins in the morning and then what's meant to the best beach around so looking forward to that. The journey awaits ...

In the water we went 2 by 2 to swim along aide these massive creatures! We all got 3 or 4 swims each, it was awesome!! You could put your hand out and touch them we were so close. Very friendly creatures, they would just continue to swim on in their path. After we'd done our swims, the driver took us out to a small reef, ...

I decided upon Mamitas, a swanky beach club with an enormous marquis. It was a gorgeous day, and all the beautiful people ...

      Fishing trip

... said ok, but keep in mind, we may not catch anything, as it is fishing. The chances of big fish being caught at this time of year (sailfish/marlin) are very low, due to them migrating out into very deep sea. He told us we have a better chance of getting fish if we say closer and shallower, but decided no, lets go for the big trophy. Kyle took Gravol before we left the hotel, partially due to the trip there, and stacie took one as well, on the bus. I am so glad I took two ...

... live, I would probably prefer Tulum in the long run. It really has more nature, forested area, chilled locals and spiritual events happening. However, Playa just has more work opportunities and generally more happens here. I am currently going to 4 dance classes a week! Salsa and Bachatta. Playa does have a great vibe, and there is a large international expat community here. Unfortunately my Spanish in not being developed as fast as it should be due the the fact ...
