... out together enjoying the pools. A good day, dinner at the restaurant, nice but a bit expensive, cold cuts tomorrow. Another foggy day, did not get over 8 today and no sun. Drove towards Ravensburg and found a great pub for lunch, had a lovely meal and drinks that would be €20 dearer at our Hotel so cold cuts tonight. Bodensee, Leichtenstein, and Lindau

... Liechtenstein. It is small principality between Austria and Switzerland. They use Swiss Francs but will take Euros as well. We saw out first public outdoor skating rink in Vaduz. Not too hard to skate outdoors at +10. It is not really much different than the Swiss mountain towns we have visted.

Our at last day in Lindau was a sunny Sunday which brought the people out to stroll in the sun and sit on the terrasses taking in the good weather.

After a nice lunch at an outdoor café, we walked up to the Vaduz Castle. It is occupied by the Liechtenstein's Princely Family. No one can tour it because it is their residence, but you can gawk at them from outside of the castle walls! It was built in the twelfth century and expanded between 1613 and 1640.
