... stop at Yalikavak. Which mum calls yack-in-a-kayak (personally, I don't see how it's similar) where we tried on and bought a snorkel set for Maddie and a snorkel mask for me. I don't need a snorkel because only the mask was leaking. We went home, had another swim to test out our snorkels (Which worked). While mum prepared dinner. Dinner was fan-taboulous! ... earthquake made the wells salty. It must have been very inaccessible, although has two natural harbours back to back so shelter would never have been a problem. We have useful fans on the boat. Claire decided to turn one off by sticking her finger into the fan. Result. Fan still turning. Blood gouting out of finger. We were delighted that she did not wake us!! ... 10 - 15 feet lower than the streets and showing great sophistification for the time - water pipes, floor mosaics, columns, etc. Kors is less than 10 miles from the Turkish coast and lots of water based activity. They sell t-shirts here just in case you forgot to bring one.
Weather has been perfect. We've worked through the jet lag. I had lamb chops for breakfast. We're looking forward to the next few days!

... a decent deal on a room. We took it. We followed her and 'Muma' up through town until we got to Mumas House. Fresh sheets, and real towels we were settled in. A stroll through town, and down to the beach a filling Greek salad and Moussaka for lunch and we were ready for a Greek siesta! We awoke and pottered about town, muma told us of a good local place for dinner ...

... wasn't one tomorrow. Ah. After sifting through a few websites we found one and booked the tickets. We had no idea who with or what ferry or where the port was...we'd just wing it. We took advantage of the internet and also purchased flights to ibiza for later in August...it worked out 3€ More expensive to fly, 1 hr flight rather than a 9hr boat ride! I'm all for budgeting but I feel it's a 3€ well ...
