... to me that the people don't seem to be in trouble, well at least not here. All the women were dolled up to the nines! Hair and make up done, formal evening gowns, heels - all to walk up to this little church to attend mass and kiss photos of the idols adorning the walls of a cave. It was a spectacle to be seen! We always enjoy the days when the ship is in port, because the decks are empty! We know that Bodrum is a beautiful beach town, but we have been to so many fabulous beaches, we decided to skip it. I know that we will be back to Turkey, so we will have another opportunity to visit both Bodrum and Kusadasi.

... look better from a distance. I return to our room and become ill myself. I sleep with my muscles aching and my tummy churning. I wake more ill. Gina talks of it not being worth getting ill away from home. We always get ill. As it gets dark and I lie on the bed the calls from the mosque are carried across Bodrum and through our open window. On our balcony the wind is cold and makes my skin feel like my muscles. I have certainly felt ...
