... stop at Yalikavak. Which mum calls yack-in-a-kayak (personally, I don't see how it's similar) where we tried on and bought a snorkel set for Maddie and a snorkel mask for me. ... earthquake made the wells salty. It must have been very inaccessible, although has two natural harbours back to back so shelter would never have been a problem. We have useful fans on the boat. ... 10 - 15 feet lower than the streets and showing great sophistification for the time - water pipes, floor mosaics, columns, etc. Kors is less than 10 miles from the Turkish coast and lots of water based activity. They sell t-shirts here just in case you forgot to bring one.
Weather has been perfect. We've worked through the jet lag. I had lamb chops for breakfast. We're looking forward to the next few days!

... got to Bodrum we started at the Castle. As we were wandering around I heard a strange noise, it turned out to be a peacock casually sitting in a tree, I think that was the highlight of the day. When we had finished looking around the castle, we wandered along the sea front, had a nice lunch in the market area, I bought some cool earrings, had an ice cream, then we went back to Akyaka.
