Finally back, after 4 years!

Leaving San Miguel/Mexico for Ottawa/Canada.....
Could not get anyone to go with me
to share the driving and driving expenses
and to ride SHOTGUN.
It is a 12 hour drive from San Miguel, through the Mexican border war zone,
to the Texas/USA border and safety and security...
I will be driving alone.
They tell me that anyone driving alone is a sitting duck for the bandito's,
drug gangs and desperado's that inhabit and ...
Still alive in the Mexician border war zone.....
... to take some of the pressure off of the Laredo border crossing and is for the 18 wheelers. I do not think that the 18 wheelers are allowed to use the Laredo crossing anymore.....
Just 608K left to go...I will be able to make it to San Miguel tomorrow - a quiet, peaceful city, high up in the mountains.... And a period of rest to recover from the 4,700K drive from Ottawa.....

Well, My 30 day vacation has been messed up, but I guess it is not so bad. My grandpa called me last night, and told me to come visit because he was in the hospital. When i went to drop my things off at his house, it was a surprise party for me. I did not know what to feel. I was happy because they wanted to celebrate me birthday late, but mad that they ruined my vacation. I love Monterrey. ...
