I sat there for about 45 mins and just listened to the storm, had some more bread and cheese then stripped off my extra clothes so they wouldn't get wet and ventured out into the rain to make my way back to the hostel. Well today we had our fist sleep in with no tour plans until 1.00 pm. So after laying in until 7.30, so used to getting up early we had breakfast and headed to the beach. Woke up Saturday very refreshed and ready to experience the south of France. I led a nice 20 minutes of yoga w/ the gals, took a dip in their large French pool, 'walked the grounds', then embarked on our day of exploring that area, which Sophie ...

    Arriving in Nice

... that's not what we did. we headed out first to find a place to park our car. Reception suggested a safe parking lot at the marina around the corner (there was a MARINA around the CORNER!) where it was 1 euro per hour. Spendy, right? Well when we parked the car there, we were informed by a very tiny sign that it was TWO EUROS PER HOUR...and was there a daily limit? I asked the nice security guard who passed by? How much for 24 hours? Nope...no daily limit....if you park there for ...
