Walked up to the Vieux Nice (old town) - more my style of shopping...interesting lane ways with a mixture of delis, restaurants and boutiques. Found Fennochio in Place Rossetti - 90+ flavours of gelato. I had lemon meringue...quite nice but not chocolate!
