The hotel was wonderful: everything from check in to check out was impeccable. Our rooms were lovely, with nice big bathrooms, large beds, and cozy linens. The wifi worked well, the breakfast was outstanding, and the hotel lobby provided a wealth of amenities any traveler would appreciate.

      Long Haul Flight

A travel blog entry by lalviano on Mar 16, 2015

It has taken us over 2 days to finally arrive in Europe, and it has surprised me the number of people travelling. Where are they all going too?

The flight was long, very long. I can't understand why they serve dinner at 3am in the morning especially when it was either fish or noodles. (Get the picture!!!). Soph had her nose covered and was …

After a successful Christmas trip with Ma and Pa Parsons through Prague and Budapest last year, we decided to try the Parsons European for Christmas Vacation, Part II. Unfortunately, unlike 2013 when we had an entire week off work, this time around we only had four days to play with. As such, we had to scale back our expectations and be a bit more …

We all agreed that we could let Tim direct us, so it was pretty much a beer fest day in Munich. Hofbrau Haus and garden, walk, walk, walk, more beer, walk, beer museum, walk walk. Actually, it …

Much of our knowledge of the Holocaust and the NSDAP comes from the tremendous amount of documentation that took place during that time. We're talking about thousands and thousands and thousands of documents, photographs, letters, diary entries, records, and artifacts. These tangible items act as a window into the history, and help us piece …

I've heard that one of the perks of being royalty is that you get to live in a big beautiful castle. Turns out that rumor is true. In fact, if you're lucky, you'll get to design it yourself so that it meets everyone of your desires and expectations.

Although if you're unlucky - like King Ludwig II of Bavaria - you'll die of a mysterious ( …
