... shows everywhere we looked now we know why it was called De Clichy .

We walked and walked for another hour and turned a corner and what did we see, yes the hotel and I was very happy and it only took more that three hours of walking in strange streets with suit cases how( wrong was I to think a cab would have been easier ) anyway we checked in and the room was great and after a cold beers we were fine and ready to face Paris with a smile .

... in front of the pyramid things at the louvre, so I picked someone touristy to take my photo. I chatted iwth him a bit afterwards. ... Whoo! Wheeley time! Up 4 flights I went with my colleagues to observe the national museum of immigration...so I could write a synthese on the organization, the expositions, etc. Whilst wheeling around and taking notes, I was struck with sudden fever...I tried to let it pass and continue my observations, but after looking down at my notes, I noticed that my handwriting wasn't legible, and also that I was sort of writing everywhere on my paper; I couldn ...

... for Lara(my cousin) to pick me up. So finally Lidia & i left the train station around 7.30pm & got home at 8.15pm, we were tired & it was getting dark so decided to spend the night in talking & Lidia cooked me a wonderful meal,with lots of lovely cheeses & red wine! The next day i went to explore Paris while Lidia went to work. I saw Notre Dame which is very impressive from the outside & the inside, St Michel's fountain, The Louve, The Palace & royal gardens ...

... and did go in and check it out. I just love the architecture of these buildings. The art and the sculptures of The Louver. I must say I was quite disappointed in this place overall. Not that I'm a museum or gallery person, but I much preferred the atmosphere of the National gallery in London then here. It was a loud and crowded place with flashes going off all over. Don't get me wrong, I love to take pictures ...

Well ... now I have something to write about! The Sixties, continued ... I saw a real "manifestation" (demonstration) today. At least I think I did ... it might have been kind of a preview or something, because I got a piece of paper saying that there is going to be a manifestation tomorrow in the Place D'Italie, and they are going to try to meet with the prefecture (I'm afraid I don't know exactly what that means or who that is) and the minister of ...

... mom and Bob just to check in and to say hello. Sorry, no pictures for now. I have to get my digital camera fixed as it says that the memory card is locked and I don't know how to fix it.
