Egosthenio Hotel - Porto Germeno
Travel Blogs from Attica
Walking down the road from one hotel to the next I realised just how bad the neighbourhood we had been staying in was. On our way out we passed run down apartment buildings covered in graffiti, and shady characters brazenly doing crystal meth in doorways. ... and what was on each deck. We were also presented with our day song, Summer of 69 which we sleepily sang along to. She explained we would play this whenever possible but its not as easy on a boat as it is on a tour bus. When we arrived at the port our correctly labelled bags were loaded onto the boat (the Orient Queen) while we got our documents sorted. We were given these cards which will be used when we sign on and off the ship, to open our rooms and to charge ...
