Zwolle & Beerz

A travel blog entry by ric_cheetham on Jul 09, 2015

... at Beerz was called camping de Roos and was a very nice 'natural site' on the river, it was car free so couldn't move the van once parked till we left again. On the first day here Kat fainted while doing the washing up and then again on the way back to the van, was pretty scary but she was fine after a while chilling in the van, there ...

... a drunk Dutch couple from a balcony across the road, the chavy man had his top off and was wearing a baseball cap, I set off before the rain stopped thinking that Sneek wasn't that great. Happy birthday Polly! We woke early to thunder but the sky looked pretty bright. A nice lie in then showers and brek before a wander round site to see the swimming pool, shop, cafe, restaurant, laundry. Then a very short walk into town.... We didn't have to do the long winded diversion as we are definitely shorter than 2.3m! We stopped at Bei Mei on the corner at the top ...

... we were higher than 2.3m but now have it confirmed thanks to our test on the metal warning dangly things! A quick whizz round the shops and back to the site (Vakantiepark de Kuilart, ACSI 248). We chose pitch 187 as it had the most space and got set up. Our field was absolutely deserted so we let Prego have a good run around. ...
