The campsite was very good but because it is surrounded by flooded rice fields and salt marsh it was plagued by mosquitos. We did get too many bites but they are annoying!

One thing we did do on the way to Eucaliptus beach was give Florance a much needed wash. We had filled up with fuel and got a deal on an automated car wash. With hindsight it was a bit of a gamble, but she came out clean and undamaged.

It was with some reluctance that we tore ourselves away from our first Spanish site of the trip, Camping Can Coromines, after a relaxing ten days. Not only were the site facilities very good but the owners and their family who run it are very personable and helpful. David in particular enjoyed Marc's company, and the two would often chat and debate all sorts of topics, with much humour thrown in. A lovely man. Both Marc and Sally are very hands on in respect of the site - ...

A beautiful little town

Arrived in town at 16:00 when siesta is in full swing so quiet as a mouse. Did a stroll to find out the ATM etc. I'm always fascinated with Mediterranean towns and villages that even with hundreds of acres available they are packed into a tiny space on the hill......surrounding the church. I'm cooking shortly and I'll be taking the pictures after light dinner.Fresh pork sausage with olives ...
