... we enjoyed a remarkable sangria that had chocolate undertones, silky on the tongue and the best we've had so far. When we asked about the wine, we were told it was their house wine. Not quite as bad as Sagres, in fairness, as we both slept well, but definitely not what we were hoping ...

... enough daylight to see by, although the sun had yet to rise.

It was actually an easier journey than expected. We were able to use our spinnaker again for most of the day, and the swell wasn't as bothersome as we had expected. Once again we made excellent time, reaching the cape around 4.30pm. Oddly, the wind disappeared, and Mister Kitty was starting to feel impatient with my caution as we started to round the cape.
