      We've made it to Frankfort, KY. Frankfort was established in 1786 and was original called Frank’s Ford for the pioneer Stephen Frank who was killed during an American Indian attack along the Kentucky River. With only 25,000 residents Frankfort is the 5th smallest capital in the US and not even the largest city in Kentucky.
