Hi everyone, I arrived back in the UK yesterday after a very long journey about 26 hours total - fortunately I didn't feel too bad after it, just a little tired! I've had an amazing trip, thanks for reading the blog, it's been nice knowing that people have been keeping up with what I've been doing whilst I've been on my adventures. ... being connected by a bridge. The town is approximately 32 km west of the city of Plymouth and 11 km south of Liskeard. Fortunately we had a couple of hours to spend in this picturesque town. ... Abbey was reorganised in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries; major restoration work was carried out by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the 1860s. It is one of the largest examples of Perpendicular Gothic architecture in the West Country. The Abbey was very interesting with lovely huge stained glass windows.
