... word as boredom during the whole trip. Just the opposite in fact, the hardest part was deciding what option was the best most of the time.
Huge thanks to all the friends I met with on the way, it really gave a special dimension to the trip seeing known faces in unknown places. And thanks for the hospitality too. Also for the comments and support through the blog, I've enjoyed them immensely.

... We were happy that we were travelling south because there was very heavy traffic heading north. The only time we had to drop our speed from the maximum 70 miles per hour was when we encountered road works and upgrading of the motorway and there is quite a bit of that going on.

The weather on Thursday morning was a bit overcast and drizzly as we drove out of Cardiff heading west towards the Welsh Town, Neath, where Bruce’s great great grandmother, Margaret Jenkins was born in the early 1800s.
