    .....well, scones rather than bread. After school, our "dirty dozen" walked to dinner with Alex and Hailey, natives of Plymouth who traveled to Fredonia last year.     ... Plymouth, Massachusetts! There is an Aldi store right up the street from where our house is.     Well, after 60 mile an hour winds last night and torrential rain, it looks as if the weather may ease sufficiently to give us a window for departure.

    So we should start Wednesday at 7am and will head for Ushant and across the Bay of Biscay towards the north west cape of Spain, cap finisterre where there is always at least a gale blowing!

    ... leaving our soggy clothes in and outside the van. We kept the pop top down as it was still very blowy and very wet. The van was rocking during the night due to the wind. Nigel slept well, me not so well. I needed a loo stop at 5.30 and it was very wet - note to self - do not leave shoes under the van !!!!! They were soaking and so were. my socks.
