... pounds of milk to produce 1 pound of cheese. I tried cheese curds or as they call it squeaky cheese. The texture feels a little cottage cheese mixed with tofu. It is strange at first but I am loving it. I heated some in a skillet and it did not melt but is soft and delicious warmed. The biggest surprise is the fact all cheese is white. They add color to certain cheese such as Colby and cheddar. ...

... and planes performing like a parade for everyone to see. There were low wings and high wings and bi-planes and even ultra-lights in this formation. We had arrived in the middle of this grand event. Oh, if only I had known, we would have stayed a day or two, but at this point, we knew there was no room at the inn. But I can say, at least, that I was there in 2015. Smile. And the word for today is PLANES.

We carried on thru Wisconsin but on the spur of a moment we decided to make a little detour north, to the Smoky Hills. Michelle found a State Forrest that sounded interesting. This whole area is covered with many Lakes large and small, but one hardly travels for a couple of miles without seeing water.
