... We wander along a main tourist drag looking for somewhere to eat. We find somewhere with lovely fish and chips and steak that is reasonably priced. The tourist centre where we are staying is expensive to eat. You could easily spend the equivalent of $100 on a meal. There are not the number of restaurants around here like there were in Dublin or Galway to compete against each other. Maybe there isn't enough road kill to supply any ...

Today we were heading out to a few people with Aunty Molly and Douglas. First stop for the day was Dunfermline. I really wanted to visit Dunfermline for the church and for the old abbey, as my patron saint I took at Confirmation was St Margaret of Scotland who lived in Dunfermline, and her relics are kept there. ... I don't think it's my fault. The driver says he be there at 1 pm. She & I go out to watch for the taxi, he calls saying he's hit traffic, it will be another half hour. She says we're leaving at 2pm. He arrives at 1:30 exactly; I pay him 70 pounds, which is approximately $105 dollars, but I have my suitcase back! It was on a Sunday so they couldn't do next day federal express.
