... managed to buy Sami some shoes then Sanboy and Max headed to the Black Bull to give the locals a lesson in 8 ball while Rita & Sami did some more shopping. Meanwhile at the Black Bull, Samboy and Max saw off a couple fo challengers (local Scots then the Italians who were clearly in the pub for a different reason). ... so it was perfect for following in the footsteps of so many immigrants and tourists and walking over the bridge. It is quite a spectacular sight looking out over Manhattan and Queens from such an iconic location although the inevitable building works shrouded the view at points. We really have been plagued by scaffolding, tarpaulins and jack hammers!
