Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelle... is only a short bus ride away and they have some ancient ruins of an ampli theatre that we could go and visit. So we hopped on the bus after a nice breakfast and headed to the amplitheater. It was freezing so cold that we both had coats and hats on and we got the theater and it was raining. It was an amazing place and Ian went up in the audience bit and I was messing around in the arena asking him could he ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelleAs we said its getting colder now so we decided not to do much today as we both wanted to relax anyway after the hectic few weeks that we have had in Turkey greece and italy. So we just went for a walk in the harbour and had a look around its another pretty little harbour town with some cafes but its still really different from Italy. We found a supermarket and as we wanted ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelle... for a few hours before heading to shore. We didn't' want to go alone so we asked any of the crew if they wanted to go with us. We ended up getting three of the stewies and one of the deckies to go with us. With only four people aboard the work load was very light, so they were able to go with us. We took the tender to shore and no one was on the beach where we landed, but there were more people scattered ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia mylifesjourney... head phones on it was doing his head in. We had to go through passport control which was a border on the motorway and we got our passports checked first by the Slovenian Police then by the Croatian police as we had to go through Slovenia to get to Croatia. We are coming back to Slovenia but in a few days time. The police did not stamp my passport and I was really dissapointed I am sure because Croatia is not an EU country he ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelle... I am not sure that was what it was, but it was a place where I left my car and it did not get towed or get a ticket). Ljubljana is situated at the intersection of two rivers, the Ljubljanica and the Sava. The buildings in the main square are primarily in the Baroque style. The castle sits at the top of a hill overlooking the square. Down from the main square is a bridge, called the dragon bridge – the dragons on either side are said to guard the city.
Piran, Slovenia forbes.thompson... in America was in Orlando. We spent the rest of our time trying to convince him that Orlando is not indicative of the US.

Back on the ship, Tyler was taking advantage of the sports deck that is dropped down anytime the ship is anchored. One can waterski, sail, kayak or just swim.

We said our goodbyes and went back to the ship. Cocktails at 7, followed by dinner and dancing. Another great day!
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia premiertravel... in anticipation of the approaching storm. We took heed and went back to the sheltered side for a bit more sightseeing and watch the ships coming in from the rough seas before returning to our apartment. Decided it would be a good day to use our little kitchenette, cook some pasta and have a relaxing evening.
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia souter... they were lucky in another, because if they were two metres further down the road the front passenger would have had them land in her lap. Not long after that we came across a motorbike lying on its side in the middle of the road next to the car that had evidently hit it. We'd never heard of Rovinj before but thousands of others evidently had. In fact we had stumbled onto one of Croatia's main tourist sites. We found a campground about 5 km's south of the town. It was ...
