    ... close by at a place called Arzachena. We had both wanted to visit these sites as they date from the Bronze Age and are in remarkably good shape.     ... but we are staying out of town about 30 minutes at a place called Porto Rotondo - evidently a little ritzy. Find the hotel with no problems and check in to find a full blown BIG FAT Italian wedding going on. It is the perfect cliche. Love it!!     ... and olives. I was getting the olives from the .ittle man at the deli counter and Jeff was getting a cheese from the fridge area. He just looked at Jeff and wa e his hand down with a NOH! and suggested he get his cheese, which we did.
    Weather has beeb bellissimo, buena excellent.

    ... about the locals.
    Arrived in Santa Teresa di Gallura. Greated in half Italian and french by the 70 yearold lady who's father had started the hotel and restaurant in the town.
    Went for a walk to the high points, the marina and the chiesa.
    Got our bathers and walked to the beach. Refreshing, the water is so clear and azure blue.
