... when I said I hoped that our premium upgrade on the plane was foreshadowing for our trip, this is proof it was indeed. ... returned to Cisternino and found the fresh fish shop, the man was just about to open and he started to put up all his fish and squid and mussels etc. talk about fresh!
I bought two nice whole fish for dinner and some shelled raw mussels. Well I made some mussel fritters for the entree and fried the whole fish with seasoning and fresh basil for our main. Both a success story with a nice salad!!

... Neil had a caprese salad (buffalo mozzarella and sliced tomatoes). I had an aperol spritz and Neil had a beer.
Then we moved onto our meeting place for the coach. Onto La Citta Bianca, where we climbed up to the Duomo Piazza. Didn't think much of this place, think they just thought of it as they needed to pad out the day. Everyone would have preferred to go back to their Trulli Cottage and have a rest!
