So many people have told me that Ibiza is expensive but really it's not. As an island destination in the Mediterranean it's actually a lot cheaper than I thought it would be. In the morning Mike and I went running then got juice from Wild Beets. Everyone headed to the Salinas beach and got a bed at Jockey Club. Rachael and I went shopping at the boutique near the beach. We tried to meet up with everyone near Ushaiua but snuck in a side door into the hotel and got into the BBC concert, where Calvin Harris performed. ... deeply disappointing, with ************e even running.
Tonight should be better as they're pulling all the gangways in at 7.30pm. It seems odd to park at an island which is renowed for it's late night partying and then make everyone leave just as the partying is startying. This should result in many people leaving getting on board to the last minute. Let's hope so.

... dip in the water – even checked that our anchor was well dug in. Saw loads of fish within reaching distance. Just loving it.

This cove is just lovely – very unspoilt. Nursing hangovers we went ashore and had (an expensive) lunch at the restaurant on the beach.

Enjoying this wonderful anchorage – in between dips in the water we're completing chores etc.
