Arret d'une heure à St-Malo.

Cinq minutes après s'être stationné...il commence à pleuvoir. Mais jusqu'à là, ca allait.
Apres un certain temps, je réalise qu'il a un Énorme nuage d'une couleur douteuse qui approche un peu trop rapidement. 30 secondes apres avoir fait le commentaire, gros tonnerre et ca commence à tomber et même à grêler....

Fait du séjour à St-Malo...

... gouter...Ca pu!!!! J’ai commandé plutôt au restaurant le rôtie de porc et la crème brulée, miam!

En étant en France, tu réalises vraiment comment on censure tout ce qu'on mange en Amérique. Ici, tu as les poules qui sont vendues avec leur tête et leurs pattes, les lapins frais (mort) du jour, les pattes, le nez, le cerveau…tu vois tout tout au marché!

Sunday we drove 2 hours to Bretagne (or Brittany) to Mont St. Michel. There is an abbey on top which began construction in the 700s. It's very old and medieval. There were a ton of steps we had to climb up, but once we got to the top, it was well worth it. The views were picturesque ...

Awoke early to freshly brewed coffee and cereal in bed - can't have eggs everyday! Kim convinced me to go for a run later today and not this morning - her reason she was hungry, but I think she was just being lazy :) Not 100% sure what lay ahead today as we had only planned as far as Vitre, which is said to revial Dinan in the mediavel town alure.

... s prices right now! Kim's Maison du Scooby came through with the goods again and produced a delicious Mussels Provincal and Oysters Kilpatrick for lunch. View was amazing as we parked at Pointe de Grouin and the blue waters of the Altantic shone in the background. The scenery around the Pointe reminded us a lot of Cornwall.

... the village of Mont Saint Michel population 42. The Mont built in 7th century and twined to Mount St Micheal in Cornwall. You would be forgiven for thinking they look very similar from a distance but up close Mont Michel is far grander, although the causeway is cooler in England!!! 4 Day Holiday With Host Fam

This was so nice of my host family! It goes a little something like this:

... the sides. We left St Malo, heading inland to find somewhere for a more peaceful night. All the campsites we found were closed, so in the end we camped outside one of them. We spent the night listening to the wind and heavy rain, hoping that it would blow over and be clear tomorrow. I wasn't looking forward to a rough ferry crossing.
