    ... the Captain set off after lunch about 1.30 and we travelled 2 hours south down the coast heading towards Sardinia and pulled up in a picturesque little bay called Belvedere Campomor, to stay the night on anchor. It was a very smooth run, the boat handled it well.
    The temperature is during the day would have been about 33deg, so it was bathers on and in for a swim. Water temp about 25deg.

    ... Another quaint town, and very commercialised with lots and lots of cafe's, restaurants and shops, boutiques. There was a huge Ferry as big almost as a cruise ship pulled in from Monaco ( we think) carrying passengers and their cars to the Island for their holiday break.

    Went walking at 7am as usual, it's usually very quite in the morning, as last night we were serenaded by a band not far away ...

    ... a steep hill but everyone made it despite the heat! David, Gary and I even managed to climb the fifty or so steep steps which lead from the ground up to the statue. The view from the top was stunning but I do not blame Barbara for wanting to sit that particular part of the trip out! The heat was sapping and the sun relentless but with the coastal breeze, I found that it was more bearable than Barcelona. (not sure the others agreed with ...

    ... specially requested menu! Christmas in July. It was spectacular. What more can I say. The turkey was just fabulous and the chocolate fondant to follow has left me so sleepy zzzzzzz So now, off to the Grand Salon for after dinner Showtime with the Seabourn Singers and Dancers @ 9:45 Wow - came back to our room to find another dessert which apparently they had omitted to serve us at dinner!!     ... scones with jam and clotted cream. This is ridiculous! Then onto poolside for a light operatic concert with the onboard group of young singers. This was a highlight of the day for me! So far! Next - dinner, and then Showtime with Toni Warne. She has a great voice and presentation, singing all types of music and tonight featuring Barbra Streisand. What a wonderful day ...
