When we arrived, I was blown away by how clean and nice it was! It was something that was hidden from the majority of tourists. The sun beamed down on us with no clouds in the sky "C'est la vie", parking up near the yachts we wandered around having no idea where we were or where to go. I can't stop admiring and taking places of the places I see; it doesn't feel as if this trip is real, it's amazing but I am dreading the editing process. ...
... rich to take us out on the water. We learned some history about the film festival and the town. We went down to the medieval old town of Le Suquet where the castle is and you got a great viewpoint of the entire town, yachts, beaches, and harbor. After we were done with the train tour, we went to La Malmatson, which used to be apart of the original Grand Hotel. It was built in 1863 and used to be residential annex to the Grand Hotel until the hotel ...
The Catamaran Story:
So last Friday, three other girls in my group and I went on a catamaran excursion. We had to pay 40euros, but we were told the excursion we all afternoon on a fancy catamaran out in the ocean, and that we would get to snorkel in the sea. It sounded pretty cool, so we signed up. Friday, we had absolutely beautiful weather, (you can see from the pictures). It was a perfect day to go out on a catamaran. The four of us, ...

I really want to see the fjords south of Marseille, so I decided to find something close to Cassis, the town nearby. Unfortunately this tiny town had nothing available, but I did find a hotel about 10 km away. Booked Saturday there and sent an email asking if public transport was at all ...
... to get a free upgrade to First Class on the way down. The kids were very excited about the reclining seats, table lamps, swishy doors and cabin service. All this topped off by the charming Thierry delivering our Continental Breakfast to the table. “Is that it?” was Kit’s considered opinion. Lizzie added that she had never had food on a train before. We had a four across a table with Lindsay across the aisle opposite a lovely lady on ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Eden Hotel Cannes
Hotel Eden is located on the main shopping street in Cannes and is approx. 10 mins walk to the heart of restaurant land and 5/6 minutes from the sea.
Overall we enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Eden hotel and might consider staying here again if the price was right. However, it's worth noting a few pros and cons.
What a nice surprise....
My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel in June. We booked through Expedia and we ended up with a really good deal. We are sure we were upgraded when we checked into our room. It was a very generous sized room with a king size bed and balcony with sea view! The only slight negative point is that the bathroom was a little on the small side but very clean and fresh looking. The staff were particularly friendly and the location is fantastic. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
Good Hotel Great Value for cannes
Very friendly staff. Good size clean rooms with wooden floors . Breakfast was also good. I paid €120 for the room and I was satisfied with what I got.
Location is excellent only a 3 min walk to the sea and directly on the main sterrt in Cannes (but in the quiter part so not much street noise)1 negative point is the construction of the hotel with wooden floors means that it can get a little noisy at night when people are coming in. Apart from that it is a good hotel. For a few quid more you could try Hotel Crusstini Beach (not too sure on the spelling)
My husband and I stayed at the Eden in September 2004 and we loved it. It is very contemporary with clean, spacious rooms. It is an easy walk to shopping and the beach. We also got a great rate at Lowestfare. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Friendly and helpful Staff
I stayed four nights at the Hotel Eden. I had a wonderful room with a large window and a view of the sea down the street opposite. The room was clean and furnished in a contemporary style. The breakfast room was modern and had a wide variety of food available. The fresh fruit salad and a wonderful array of jams were the highlights for me.
The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is well situated on the Rue Antibes.
My only concern was that the wooden floors amplified sound and at one point I could hear a baby cry two floors away ! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cannes.
So conveniently located..
A stylish, modern hotel - very clean with attentive staff. The room was spacious and the satellite TV included Sky News that kept us up to date with developments back home. A direct road takes you to the seafront and, by walking a few metres either way, you can find a free beach rather than pay the steep prices for a sun-lounger at a private area. Highly recommended - although a word of warning is that if you use the tea and coffee facilities this gets charged as mini-bar expense!
Stylish, Modern and Good Value
The Hotel Eden is an excellent recently renovated hotel with a modern, contemporary feel and all at a very reasonable price. On checking out I was expecting to pay some more as I was sure I had been undercharged for the quality of the room. Private underground parking is excellent, and from my experience quite rare in French city hotels. It is situated centrally enough to be convenient to all the main areas yet is outside of the hustle and noise of the main drag. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
Charming contemporary hotel well located
The Eden Hotel in Cannes is an excellent, newly renovated contemporary design hotel well located in Cannes just 150 mts from the beach and La Croisette. It is a great alternative to the high priced major deluxe hotels in Cannes, we only paid 120 EUR for a lovely room with great comfort and style. We highly recommend this hotel for those who wish to visit Cannes , and the Cote D'Azur without spending a fortune.
