      ... did - it was funny sitting in the rooftop of the most expensive hotel in the city, and staying at the cheapest, but it was one of those magical evenings. We nursed our coffees and hot chocolates, Squirt got out her loom bands and made bracelets, and I took photos and just enjoyed watching the changing light as the sun set, the sky over the Aegean got pinker and Mount Athens came into view.

There isn’t any archaeological evidence from the time of ST Paul and it was claimed that Christians had to remain hidden as they were persecuted.       Be warned though, you may think once you have climbed the 150 meter hill you will find some wind - no such look. The air is as still at the top as it is on the city streets. If anything, you are closer to the sun, and the white rocks on the flat-service will scold your feet if your not wearing shoes.
