    Shopping ... unsuccessfully

Our only activity today was an attempt to get the suitcases fuller before we head home in three weeks. We went to many stores over 6 hours and didn't get much at all, despite trying on lots of clothes. The day was pretty warm but it got overcast so the day was comfortable despite being in the late 80s. For lunch we had Taco Bell and for dinner we had ...

    Underground caves and snake farm

First stop today was a visit to the Nature Bridge caves just out of Schertz. We decided to take both tours into the two separate caves. The two caves sit at constant 72f but with 99% humidity the temperature feels more like 80-85f, so as warm as outside the cave. Both tours were 70 mins in length. Everything was delicious. It rained all night and the thunder and lightning continued. There were tornado warnings for the region near us and one person was killed just west of Texarkana, about ...

The Travelers RV Park in San Antonio is great…..nice sites, lots of trees for shade, paved roads and a pool and hot tub just a few steps away from our site. There are no fireplaces in the park, but with Craig and Shelley’s gas fireplace we were still able to enjoy a fire at night. The RV park is right on a bus route that we can take in to the city and a bike path that is 5 miles to Riverwalk in ...

... 8217;t imagine anyone coming to Sydney and me telling them not to go and see the Harbour Bridge or the Opera House because they’re major tourist attractions. I know they are but I still do a walk-by at least a couple of times a week because I think they’re amazing and I’ve lived there all my life!

We head down the entry closest to our hotel and strolled, strolled some more, and then some more. Hmmmm, people were already on lunch ...
