Creeps and Thieves in Cold Water
... 8211; the rate was really really good – then onto our hotel. It looked nice from the lobby, a sports bar and coffee shop coming off it. Our honcho produced 3 keys – 310, 302 and 411. We obviously wanted one on level 3 so we didn’t have to carry bags up to level 4 – this was common knowledge. As soon as the honcho spread the keys out in front of him Alex grabbed at 310. My time here was tight, my focus is on spending as much time in China plus spending $400 on a tour that will probably involve a great deal of driving, is not money well spent for MY trip. I would say though, from people I have met and spoken to, a 5-7 night trip to the Gobi desert is ...

... her in the morning and evening as she kept an eye on the herd of goats/sheep/cows close to the yurt. The old man sat up on the hill keeping a look out for straying animals. The daughter in law seemed constantly busy milking, making cream, butter or yogurt, cooking (keeping tha kazakh tea going) and cleaning. As visitors, we had 2 of the beds, the mother and youngest boy had the other one and our guide, driver and cook all slept on the floor as we had done most of the trip. ...
