... wood pile in the country. They're all over the place, including odd spots in the middle of nowhere, and use different stacking. Needless to say, we have a lot of pictures of wood piles.

This was the day when the Oakhall team took the lessons to the slopes on the other side of the valley above Murren. Ruth had never skied this area so we set off on the bus for Stechelberg and then up two cable cars to Murren and a third up to Birg. The cafe at Birg was the base for JJ for the morning. ... the next mountain is the Eiger (Ogre). The local myth is that the Ogre is trying to get the Young girl but the Monk is guarding her. Another tidbit of information is that the Eiger's north face was not scaled until 1933 by a couple of German fellows. Hitler gave them a signed picture of himself to say thank you!

... thought that the mountains in Idaho/Montana are some of the most beautiful mountains anywhere, but we all four agree, these are spectacular, they actually are so beautiful that they can bring a person to tears! Actually, Don, not our Don but the other Don in the group sang "How great thou art" while we were hiking and we all agreed, his presence here is all around!
