The Cameron Highlands is famous for two things, treks and tea plantations so in attempt to tick the highlands off our list we attempted to do both that day. Other activities in Ipoh involved walking around looking at the colonial architecture and working up an appetite for the next meal. We had some wonderful food and met some lovely people in restaurants who in turn recommended other restaurants, until in the end there just weren't enough meals in the day.

... entirely and to climb the 10 steps to the hostel it must have taken me about 20 minutes. However, I am now the proud new owner of leg muscles that I didn't know existed so I shan't be moaning about it.
