The drive down was down another road then the one I took into the mountains. It was a more steep and windy road, but I wanted to try it... We ate our breakfast there this morning on the way to the bus station: nasi lemak, which is rice cooked in coconut milk, with spicy chili sauce, crunchy peanuts, salty dried anchovies, an egg, and in this case some spicy chicken. We also enjoyed some of the local "white coffee", which is flavoured with hazelnut.

Ipoh is going to be hard to beat foodwise, but we will certainly try.
