A nice coincidence was realizing our friend from our community, Rhoda, was in this area also. Her daughter had a jewelry display at Norton Museum of Art, the Bijoux showing along with other artists. The diversity of mediums used by the artists and the different parts of the world they have traveled from was amazing. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

We did our usual morning walk and swim. Couldn't resist sharing the video and picture of "Lake Atlantic". We have never experienced such a calm ocean on the Atlantic Coast. We've enjoyed our visit with Millie and Bert, had a chance to help with some financial and organizational tasks, and are ready to begin our Maya Adventure.
... 30pm, checked in and had a ground floor room right by the pool. We dumped our bags and got our swimmers on and promptly jumped in the pool to cool down. Here we spent a couple of hours just sunbathing, swimming, drinking and chilling out by the pool. The first time we stopped by ourselves to do nothing but relax. It was at least 88* on the way down, it felt a lot hotter now. Didn't realise we both had got sun burnt just sat in the car, i had strap lines ...
... but we found out that it was raining really hard so we just went ahead and went to the restaurant for dinner. For dinner we went to Lightsey's and I tried alligator, frog legs, and turtle. The frog legs were really bland and the alligator and turtle were tough and hard to chew. Needless to say I am not the kind of person to eat a lot of exotic food, but I tried it and now I can definitely say that I don't like it. When we got there and were waiting for an ...
