After that we continued walking up to Lover's Point and then drove to Carmel by the Beach. It is such a cute little downtown area and the homes there are so unique and gorgeous. ... interesting to view. While watching out over the ocean area of the bay we again could not get over how much sea weed is near the shore area. We also saw three Sea Otter's in the water laying on their backs eating something. Unfortunately they were about 200 mtrs away and it would have been great to get closer. They seemed so much bigger than the ones we see in our Zoo and I get they must be another breed or fresh water otters.
