We were supposed to be in Denver at my cousin's place, but stopping every 150 miles tends to have a slowing effect on your journey. Ouch, another night in a motel. That's luxury we can't afford.

Baja California: An alternative Thanksgiving.
My brother and I are driving there tomorrow. Yes, MEXICO. I obviously can't go longer than a few month without leaving the country. It's a road trip. Road trips are my absolute favorite kind of trips! Driving, camping and beachin'. I won't have internet, so I'll have to update when I'm back in Salt Lake next week.
... icy, but the icier the snow the faster you go! Nothing wrong with that :)
I learned to snowboard at Brighton about 11 years ago. My dad had to spend years waiting for me at the bottom of the hill, but now I have to wait for him!
... Reese, CEO of Bonneville International, distributor of the broadcast; Choir President Mac Christensen and Music Director Mack Wilberg. Former Music Directors Jerold Ottley and Craig Jessop, Associate Director Donald Ripplinger, and former Tabernacle Organists Robert Cundick and John Longhurst were in attendance. The anniversary concluded as it does each week with the Choir singing "God Be With You Till We Meet Again."

One really neat part about this trail is that you can see the notch in the mountain as you approach Wall Lake, and as you continue on you eventually reach a series of switchbacks that lead you through the notch. Very cool. On this particular trip the notch was covered in snow so we had to climb up the mountain through the snow ...

He quickly said that was fine and was getting back in his truck when Vanessa asked if we might just pop it up to cook dinner. the ranger said we could pop so long as it wasn't overnight. That was a huge relief because it was cold outside and uncomfortable sitting and eating crouched down in the un-poped camper.
The furnace would not work again. I ...
Nothing exciting, no longer tourists, just Intersate travelers. Crossed great salt flats, home of the Bonneville Speed . Stopped at Salt Lake City H-D for dots, clothes and a wind breaker. I have lots of excess wind from under the windshield, hope it helps. Sleeping early, need to make Nebraska tomorrow. May not post tomorrow as pictures get boring. Bye.
Evanston, Wyoming, United States 7x70on66... my last plane flight and about four hours before I'm finally home. Odd thing: I don't smell as bad as I know I did when I went to France. Now I do smell. I'm certain of that; in 2 more hours I will have been wearing these same clothes for a full day. But it's cooler here than it was in France. Thank you people of Utah! While you may not be the socialist paradise that France is, you do believe in blessed air conditioning. Hallelujah!
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States dgookin... A bit windy up there but quite nice. The best part of snowshoeing is not the scenery, or the idea of making fresh tracks through the deep powder. It is most definitely running down the steep side of the mountain while trying to keep your feet moving fast enough that you don't face plant into 3 feet of snow. Were we successful? Mmm kind of... It was a lot of fun and I still feel sore. Now what could possibly ...
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States whereisbrian... the time we pull into our driveway it's 12:30 am Rock Springs time (2 hours behind eastern Ky). He has to leave for work at 4:30 and we still haven't picked up his truck from the airport and we needed to go to Wal-Mart to get the animals settled in. I finally talked him into taking my car to work and leaving his at the airport. Well, that just didn't work. He remembered his boots and everything he needed for work the next day was in his truck. So, here we go,again. We leave the house ...
