    Very large Krogers open 24 hours where you can buy hot meals, wine, fancy cheeses and all manner of sweet foods from the bakery. Plain bread rolls? No! I did find some Chibatta rolls in their Artisan bread section. Of course being fancy they were quite expensive. Krogers appear to have a monopoly in the supermarket business in Kentucky.     Arrived early and got our pick of sites. We got this one right on the lake. At dusk, the family of skunks would come out to enjoy the fallen crab apples on the tree in our site. The sunsets were gorgeous! We met Puff the Purple Dragon on the beach! Loved the water tower.

    ... of Popeye". A pleasant place with an active downtown, we ended up staying in a 10x15 bunkhouse for cyclist at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Nice since it rained.     Today we cycled 72 miles in rolling hills to a tiny town on the Ohio River. We were accommodated in two old, historic homes overlooking the River. The homes are run as bed and breakfast stops so we enjoyed an intimate atmosphere.
