... the weather didn't want to cooperate and it was cloudy again by the time we arrived! But just as we parked the car and got out we heard strange noises and looked down at the rocks below to see hundreds of sea lions up on the rocks and in the sea! It was amazing!! ... than planned, we decided to relax this evening and get our laundry down. Going to watch some tv and chillax.

Tomorrow we are planning on visiting the San Diego Zoo at park opening and tour its many exhibits. Later in the afternoon we will move over to Seaworld. We have been to Seaworld in Orlando a few times, so we don't need a full day there and they are open until 10 p.m. We have to fit both in tomorrow as we are leaving for Anaheim on Saturday morning. ...

San Diego edition Day 1: Arrived in beautiful San Diego Saturday around two. Erin was ready and waiting with open arms and a full cooler. Boys went swimming and we enjoyed fresh grilled carne asada compliments of Erin and Mike (her dad). Since we'd been up so late the previous night, it was a short one. All asleep by 9 and out cold. Thanks to some slick planning and very good measuring a la Erin we were able to ease "Bethany", our pop up right into Erin and Mike's garage. ...
