We get to State Park by 4pm just before the thunder storms start rolling in. It was very quiet in the camp. We where the only ones there, it felt erie. Since it was a cold, wet night we decide its the perfect time to hide away and watch a movie.
The next day Gordon wakes up with a slight head cold. Since it is still cold and raining on and off we decide its a good to do nothing day.

We decided to hike around the mountain on the rim trail, but due to inadequate trail markings and the fact that we didn't particularly care where we were walking, we ended up taking a connecting trail halfway down the mountain to see some streams and springs.
