... starting with Troop in 1937. On the way back to the highway, we found a dead coyote with a red ribbon strapped to a fence housing cattle. So we are assuming this is a scare tactic for other coyotes. Whatever the reason, we were amused.

Tom Hendrix has been working over 30 years to build a wall to honor Te-lah-nay's journey. Back in 1961-62 Jayne and Jens met at Zion-Benton Township High School in Zion, IL, USA. Jens was a foreign exchange student from Denmark. We had several classes together and became friends. Jayne visited Jens and his parents in 1965 in Copenhagen, but we then lost contact for the next 48 years. Jens travelled extensively in the US in the summer of 2013, and we met briefly in June. ...
