We had a bit of a sleep in as the Hotel had an 11.00am checkout. Set the Garmin for Salem, Ohio which should a 7.00pm arrival estimate. Cruised on out through some suburban streets to be linked up with the Interstate I80 which leads to Indiana and then Ohio. Plane sailing so far. Even remembered to keep to the right of the Yellow line. Turned on the wipers instead of the indicators once or twice though - the levers are reversed of course ...

... way to our house and they were able to fix. Ride was nice surprisingly cool most of the day about 500 miles. Had a nice dinner at Red Lobster took our showers and now time to relax. Back on road tomorrow about 7:30am. Will post tomorrow night at next ...

... some time down by the harbor where I was amazed at how this city has managed to marry industry with culture and medicine, all co-existing together by the water’s edge. Oh, and this is one city with many beautiful churches…some with the impressive architecture that is identifiably Russian Orthodox…golden domes topped with crosses.

And all along the way, for most of the day, we saw acres and acres of grape vines. ...
