... being a tourist.

We got into camp in time to watch the sunset, have a shower and dinner. It was a nice looking, small park from what we could see in the fading light. It was only intended as an over night stop anyway so as long as it had power and showers that's all we where worried about. We watched the sunset from the safety of Rupert becasue the bugs where in force outside. ...

... across the road is a great steak restaruant. Guess that's lunch/dinner planned.

Our other unscheduled stop is Camping World to get a new portable fridge. Our original portable one has died and we can't survive with just the small Eurovan camper fridge. Having just won the premiership it was the least I could do. All you Man U fans Arsenal fans and city fans I am sure you would have done the same. Went from riding in a t shirt to full waterproofs as it poured down. We only missed 3 tornadoes by 24 hours too. 24hours from Tornadoes That's not a song like Tulsa but I would have loved to see ...

... in bare feet. Yep, no shoes on... nothing.

We passed a sign for a town called Dumas. Pronounce that however you wish. The sign says it's the home of the Ding Dong Daddy. Unfortunately, we didn't go that way. We drove hours through flat, hot, desolate, boring, dry, and jam packed with one abandoned building after the next. Actually, we've been seeing abandoned buildings for days now, but they just seemed to stand our more today. All ...
