My dear friends: It's getting colder in Canada and my thoughts are wandering to warmer climes. On January 12/2010, I fly to Managua, Nicaragua and then work my way north ending up in Cancun, Mexico. From there, I fly to join many members of the Gaudun family in Daytona Beach. If you would rather not get notifications of my travel blogs just send a brief "no thank you" to this travelpod . Everyone is getting very excited.
We've upgraded our camera and hope to be posting some nice pictures, and maybe even some video on this site.
As we finish a location, we will let you know where we stayed, provide some pictures and also fill you in on the activities we did in the area.

Mittlerweile haben wir schon ziemlich mit dem Weiterlaufen gekaempft, aber den letzten und groessten der Gaerten wollten wir uns dann doch noch entgehen lassen. Dort gibt es unter anderem einen Rosengarten, der im Sommer wirklich toll sein muss, aber nun nur noch ein paar Blueten die schon am verbluehen waren zu bieten ...

Ya encontramos un mecanico en Toronto que parece muy bueno, y nos va decir que hacer, que repuestas tendriamos que llevar, los herramientos mas importantes, etc. Tambien esta el pequenio inconveniente de tratar de hacer $ para poder pagar un viaje asi, y algunas deudas que nos quedan aca, antes de salir. Pero, si todo sale bien, pensamos salir en julio para poder llegar en diciembre a Uruguay (viva la primavera!!)

The only thing is I am having to get used to spelling like an American and not a Canadian, which is fine except for the fact that in everyday life I am starting to spell like an American so it's a bit frustrating! I left London early this day (up at 6am and on the road before 7am!!!) I wanted to get into Toronto early knowing that I would have to navigate between two cities and taking a bus in there too. I didn't particularly want to drive into Toronto and opted for a bus/train route from Hamilton instead (figuring it would be much cheaper and easier). It didn't take too long to get into Hamilton and navigating wasn't that hard ...
