Today we drove to Book Road for the meeting, as Uncle Carl was doing the exhortation. The size of the ecclesia was doubled by all the conference attendees, and it was so nice to see so many of them after saying goodbye yesterday. The exhortation was very thought-provoking. Uncle Carl explored the theme of the faithfulness of Yahweh in keeping his promises and therefore the response we need to have in being faithful ourselves. There was a 'potluck' lunch which ...

Set the alarm for 6am this morning as we wanted to get on the road early before the sun came out. We went briefly into Walmart to get some things for the journey and then were on the road at 6.30am. We pulled back at 1751, airborne 13M later, winding up the fifth straight year in Mexico. The pilot described the snow in Toronto as 'messy'. I am a tired puppy but it's only a 4H flight.

... other things as well....

Mom wanted to go to Machu Picchu so we put Peru on the list. I loved my time there 5 years ago, so I'm really looking forward to going back. But, as one of my friends said, "Isn't Machu Picchu a once in a lifetime kind of place"? Usually yes, but for some of us I guess it's a twice in a lifetime thing....We are also going to Lake Titicaca - something I wished I had seen last time around. And instead of flying to Cusco (the main ...
