... down to my room and announced that Uncle Vaughn and Aunty Jackie were going out for tea, and that we were heading to Wendy's and then to Jesse Pipe's house for a bonfire. Wendy's fast food is nothing like ours here, and actually has some good options on the menu! I ordered a BBQ chicken salad, fries and a chocolate frosty (thickshake). ... no, all went smoothly.
I even flaunted the traffic laws like every Canadian driver and ignored any speed signs..

We arrived at the off ramp by 10:00...
Navigate to the Carnegie Gallery where we were to meet up with a few of the early arrivals at 12:00... a tad early..

We found a close by Starbucks and sat to have a coffee.. within a couple of minutes four more attendees showed up.. there ...

... luggage and got a coupon from AC for 250 MP for lunch. I went for a short walk, unable to get any wifi. At the designated restaurant. I opted for a tortilla soup [strips of tortilla, avocado and pork rinds] and the 'green juice' [cactus]. There was no place for a tip so I gave the guy 20 MP. He was being run off his feet. Hell, it was worth it for the surprise wifi, allowing an email to the homefront.

Back at 1300 for an update. The flight is now set for ...

... to Hwy 407 West which is a Express Toll Route and cars from other states pay a toll. Ontario cars have a trans controller which is sensed when on the highway and we are recorded by video to be charged a fee. Bad news is we won't be paying the fee. Now on a four lane highway and people drive like maniac's all you see now is high voltage towers for power. Getting close to Brampton now just passed the Airport turn off Ext 10 ...
