          We have a cold day today but a short one. We need to make Portland Maine so Carolyn can fly home. We stop at a state park called Battle Mountain and pay $9 entrance fee to take a 2 mile road up to the top. The view is of Penobscot Bay.           ... As shown in the video the first and second place winners of this event (from the same team), were pulling these cinder blocks weighing over 5 tons. These work horses were not to be messed with. Not only were people from the state of Maine showing off their horses, but people brought their horses from other states and Canada to compete as well.
