... Found huge storm drain tunnels that made massive echoes when we shouted down them. Sweating and hot we craved a beer, walking up to the infamous 6th street we found a Mexican bar on happy hour and took advantage with buckets of beer. Wednesday was a bits and pieces day, Mum needed a few things from the shops, Dad to the bank, so we just took things pretty slowly. In the evening we picked up Mum from the hotel for bible class, said our goodbyes to Dad and headed to West Houston for the class.
Thus ended our whirlwind week with Mum and Dad - a great time had by all and it was fantastic to share our 'life' here with them.
