I was excited to see central Washington as it's a place I'd never seen before. The drive from Seattle to Wenatchee was beautiful, driving along US2 was scenic and it was a gorgeous day. Wenatchee itself is much more industrial than I imagined, I assume its reputation as the apple capital of the world has something to do with that. ...

We arrived early afternoon it was a short drive. Randy greeted us with his usual good humor. Dee does not get off work until 5. He showed us around their place which is impressive. They have 20 acres which has its own pond, bee hives, 11 horses, 1 dog, 3 cats, large garden, large shop/garage, and great house. This is impressive and must take a lot of work. We had a wonderful prime rib ...

... shoes off, etc. Smooth flight on Jet Blue, no lunches on Jet Blue, had some salami, cheese and snack tray. Arrived at Logan Airport in Boston on time. Long walk through many hallways to Terminal E. Had to go through security again. Harry not so luck this time, he got to do the full check. Aer Lingus flight took off right on time - 9 ...
