Stopped and walked on Bonneville salt flats where speed records are set. It truly is a vast nothingness of salt. Pretty cool.There's a Motrin salt factory there. We set up camp in Park City,Utah and then drove around looking at ski resorts and homes. Tried to watch Bama/LSU game but couldn't get it .Off to more sites ...

They take these things to shows across the country and drive them on the highways too, I think they were taking photos there or something. Also the guy in the wind thing promised he'd take us both out if the wind picked up, but it never did. I was praying for it to but pesky weather, you just can't get it to do what you want can you?
... We were both quite chuffed to be standing on the Salt Flats where this took place. Who would ever have thought!!! We even got to see the Western Ridge Motel, that was in the movie, where Burt stayed whilst in Wendover, Utah.
After detaching ourselves from this spot, not before taking the Motorhome for a little spin on the Salt Flats, we moved on to Salt Lake City, Utah. Lucky to get a spot at the Mountain Shadow RV Park ...
