Another sleep in til 8am with Aiden still softly snoring, comfy in his put-you~up, he's been a truely great roomy this weekend, not the expected early rises he's used too or we were lead to expect. ... churches), I'm guessing religion has something to do with it. The drive through Missouri is somewhat uneventful. The landscape starts to look a little more familiar with trees that are starting to change and it's a little hilly; sort of reminds me of driving up to the cottage, just with more trees. ... the Giant Rocking Chair - a little quirky tourist lure. Cuba is also known for the number of street murals, not unlike KatiKati at home.We bypassed St Louis except for a quick trip into Ted Drewes Frozen Custard - the ride in was very hot and so many lights so once we got there, we weren't sure if we wanted to eat it or wear it. The ice cream was great to cool us all down and give us a few minutes off the bikes.

... Effingham for lunch (at the American Legion Post in Effingham) for Pork steak, beans and coleslaw. After being there an hour we then headed to Troy, IL for fuel which was a 83 miles leg3.
