We left this morning around 9:10. It was only 5 degrees this morning ... Chilly!! Dark clouds were looming overhead as we left Ashville. Apparently snow was on it's way... Glad we were moving south :). It's a lovely sunny day - not a cloud in the sky. Had a picnic lunch at a rest area near Newberry - 17 degrees. Arrived ...

Got off to a good start this morning...about 7:15. It was a pretty quiet, uneventful trip. We did see gas for $2.99 in Wytheville, VA and was going to get some, but this price was for cash. Richard thought we'd find the same price on down the road. NO...it was $3.00. Did we stop? Nahhh...kept going. At 1/8 of a tank, we did get gas...only it was $3.03. All I can say is, it's a lot less than at ...

I guess thats one reason why the Americans are "bigger" than the Europeans.
Also the cups at the fastfood restaurants are so big, a small coke is about 0,3L and you can get up to 2L if you supersize your menue.

12:53pm Listening to an interview with Billy Joe Shaver. He says that when you're a gypsy, and you find your black rose, then you've done all you can. A black rose is something that you're addicted to.... Like a woman or a drug. 5 hr energy #2 (not me but JP). I just spent an hour lubing and cleaning JP,s leatherman. I had to wash my hands with 409 to get the WD40 ...
