We figured being in Missouri we needed to stop by Kansas City for some amazing BBQ since the city is known for it!! We stopped at.... We ordered 4 huge meals and shared between the four of us!! We don't think we could eat at another BBQ place again that is how good it was!! After this we drove to a town in the middle of no where (3 hours east of Denver) on I-70 West in Kansas State next to a town called Kanarado (we loved this name) and got a hotel to get some shut ...

Switched hotels today for a better deal and the hotel is so nice and on the Main Street. This area is called The Plaza and seems to be the city centre although it feels more like a posh town. Lots of big and little fountains everywhere, really nice buildings and lots of flowers. Nice shops - bought another pullover to keep warm! There were a couple of musicians on the street and a couple of street magicians. Had quite a lazy day and a day of food. By the time ...

We have wi-fi in the lobby only, so I am sitting here now with a Starbucks coffee whilst Jonathan is checking his Fantasy Football Team line-up before today's match. I wonder if our hotel tonight has wi-fi in the rooms. In a way, when we have wi-fi, we both get caught-up in researching places and so Seem to take forever to get out of the door ...

... local group came and made us all omlets and the we got a tour of the garmin headquarters, seemed like a very cool place to be a Mechanical Engineer. Afterwards we had a great friendship visit followed by a tour of Mark Cameron's house by the man himself. Mark set the whole stay here in Olathe up for us so it was great hearing his story. Lots of awesome things packed into two ...

If you're family, a close friend, or just a friendly ear, I've probably told you and your dog that this "great adventure" has drained my bank account plus some. In fact, without the support of my family (parents, siblings, boyfriend, the great uncle d and aunt m included) I wouldn't be making this voyage. And no matter what I end up walking on that plane with - two months abroad costs a whole hell of a lot more than you ever think it could.
As most of you know, I've paid ...
